"In the past, we certainly couldn't make it out in such a short time. 」 Lin Guoshi, head of Jinchen's garment business department, explained that for every new garment, the assembly line has to be re-run, and the smooth operation of the production line usually takes a week. Therefore, many garment enterprises are unable to receive large orders with particularly high timeliness requirements.

In the production workshop, the intelligent production hanging transmission system grabs the "parts" that make up the clothing, such as cuffs, collars, and front plackets, and sends them to the workers in all positions accurately. At the top of each station, a tablet computer is installed, and the numbers on the screen are constantly beating. The workers' operations such as smoothing clothes, removing stitches, and stepping on the sewing machine are recognized and recorded in real time by the "needle smart" system in the computer.

"Producing a complex piece of clothing may require 200 or 300 processes. Suzhou Raboni Clothing Co., Ltd. is a large garment enterprise in Changshu, which produces tens of millions of garments every year and designs more than 3000 garments. Chen Kaien, chairman of Rabboni, said that according to the traditional practice, designing a garment requires the cooperation of more than a dozen departments through multiple links such as drawing a design draft, 2D printing, material preparation, proofing and sample modification. The sample garment produced has a slight deviation and has to go through the process again, which takes at least half a month.

Today, thanks to a 3D digital service platform for the clothing industry called "Style3D", designing clothes has become as simple as building blocks. The designer opened the software, extracted the "parts" of the clothes from the database, moved the mouse, spliced them repeatedly, and then carefully modified the details. In less than half an hour, a 3D sample garment appeared on the screen. If you need to modify, click the mouse to complete.

Nowadays, with the help of digital technology, the traditional labor-intensive industry of textile and clothing is becoming more and more "scientific and technological". Yu Zhe, chief of the industrial policy section of Changshu Municipal Bureau of industry and information technology, said that in the past three years, more than 700 textile and garment enterprises in Changshu have carried out digital transformation, with a cumulative investment of more than 2 billion yuan. The average labor productivity of enterprises has increased by 35% and the product manufacturing cycle has been shortened by 19%.

Transforming the e-commerce track to create another 100 billion-level market
